The picture above is Birkenhead Town Hall which is located in the main town square ( Hamilton Square ). It no longer functions as a Town Hall as the seat of Local Government is now based at Wallasey Town Hall. The building has been turned into a museum and houses a lot of interesting town artifacts and currently has a Special Scouting Centenary Exhibition.
