THE JUNGLE BOOK Game
This game can be used to introduce the Jungle Book characters to the Beavers usually on visits from Akela or just before Beavers SWIM up to Cubs.
WHAT YOU NEED
- The Jungle Book Story
- Character Pictures (optional)
Give each beaver a character name from the Jungle Book, EXCEPT SHERE KHAN ( You may have a group of beavers per character if you have a large colony )
The beavers sit on the floor in front of the storyteller and as their character is mentioned they jump up and run to the other side of the hall and back as fast as they can ! When SHERE KHAN is called ALL the beavers run.
You can make the story as long or as short as you like ! You can mention the character names as often as you like !
This is a fun way of introducing the names used in Cubs to the Beavers
